The RealEstateU bundle for the California real estate salesperson course comprises of three online audio courses totaling 135 hours, which meets the license requirements for California.
The courses included are:
- 45-Hour Online Real Estate Principles Course: This course covers fundamental concepts you need to know for a career in real estate as well as the required California real estate pre-licensing courses. These topics include estates, liens, deeds, the closing process, agency relationships, law of contracts, real estate finance, appraisal, California real estate licensing requirements and ethics, and more.
- 45-Hour Online Real Estate Practice Course: This course covers practical topics that apply to the everyday life of a real estate agent in California. This includes ethics, fair housing, agency duties, CMA, listing agreements, real estate taxation, leasing, and more.
- 45-Hour Online Legal Aspects of Real Estate Course: This course covers the laws that affect real estate professionals and real estate transactions. This includes RESPA, TILA, Zoning and Building Codes, State laws, advertising and anti-discrimination laws, and more.
Additionally, each course comes with a downloadable PDF workbook, infographics, supporting documents booklet, and course glossary for download.
Course Structure
- The course begins with an Orientation chapter that provides an introduction to the material covered in each course.
- There are 15 course chapters, each containing a series of audio lectures to guide you through the course material.
- At the end of each chapter, there is a 30-question multiple-choice quiz. To pass the quiz, you need to answer at least 70% of the questions correctly.
- Once you complete all 15 chapters, you will progress to the course final exam.
Course Final Exam
The final exam for each course is administered online and comprises of the following:
- 100 multiple-choice questions
- To pass, you must correctly answer at least 60 questions (60%)
- There is a time limit of 3 hours (180 minutes)
- The exam is open book, allowing you to reference any textbook, course notes, or glossary during the exam.
- A state requirement mandates that you wait for a minimum of 18 days from the course start date before being able to access the final exam.
- Prior to taking the final exam, students will be required to provide their Full Name, Email Address, State-Issued ID Number (such as a Driver's License), and their Phone Number.

Required Course Completion Time
In accordance with the California real estate license requirements, a student is not permitted to finish a course (including the final exam) within the following time frames:
- 2 and a half weeks for one course
- 5 weeks for two courses
- 7 and a half weeks for three courses
Moreover, it is mandatory to complete all three courses, including the final exams, within 12 months of purchasing the course bundle.
