There is no single national cost; each state appraiser certifying and licensing agency sets its own application and examination fees, and qualifying education prices vary by provider. Separately, every state licensed and certified appraiser pays a $40 annual National Registry fee to the Appraisal Subcommittee to be listed on the Appraiser Registry.
