What do home appraisers take pictures of during an appraisal?
Appraisers photograph the property's exterior and selected interior features. During the visit they note the property's characteristics, its overall condition including the foundation and roof, and any renovations, then compare the property against recent sales of similar homes. Photos of the surrounding area and of comparable properties also support the written report.
