What does USPAP Standards Rule 2-2(b) require?
The answer depends on your state. Pick yours to see it.
Under Standards Rule 2-2(b), appraisal reports must include a summary of the scope of work; Connecticut's Department of Consumer Protection applies this through Standards Rule 2-2(b)(vii). When a provisional appraiser provides significant appraisal assistance, the report must list that appraiser's full name and license number and describe the tasks performed, such as inspections, sales comparison development, or report writing. Generic statements are not sufficient, and reports that fail this will not count toward experience hours for a license upgrade.
