What is the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR)?
The Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) is the most common form appraisers use to report the results of a home appraisal. A completed report typically includes a description of the property and its locale, an analysis of comparable sales, and the appraiser's opinion of value. The form itself does not determine compliance: the Appraisal Standards Board's position is that the appraiser, not the form, complies with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
