The applicant must complete 120 hours of approved pre-license education at a certified school, pass the Real Estate Sales Agent Exam within one year of completing the coursework, and submit the license application within 90 days of passing the exam. Applicants must also complete fingerprinting and a background check, and must meet statutory qualifications of honesty, integrity, truthfulness, reputation, and competency under Utah Code 61-2f-203(1)(c).

To obtain a Vermont real estate salesperson license, an applicant must be at least 18 years old, complete a 40-hour pre-licensing course approved by the Vermont Real Estate Commission, pass the national exam (through PSI) and the state exam (within the online application), and be employed by or associated with a Vermont-licensed brokerage firm and its principal broker. Both exams must be passed within the two years immediately preceding application. The application fee is $100, and first-time licensees must complete 8 hours of post-licensure education within 90 days of license issuance.
