How do I get an all-lines insurance adjuster license?
The all-lines adjuster license is the most common adjuster license in Texas, covering catastrophe, property and casualty, workers' compensation, and other types of insurance under one license. To earn it, pass the Pearson VUE state exam, complete a fingerprint background check, then apply online through Sircon within one year of passing; the application fee is $50. The exam is waived for candidates who completed a Texas-approved adjuster course within the last 12 months, hold the CPCU or AIC designation, or are nonresidents licensed in good standing in a reciprocal state.
To become a Florida all-lines adjuster (the 6-20 class), pass the state adjuster exam administered by Pearson VUE and complete any required prelicensing education, then apply online through MyProfile ($50 application fee plus $5 license ID fee) and submit fingerprints ($52.50 plus local sales tax). Holders of approved designations, such as the ACA or AIC, are exempt from the exam. The license requires an insurer appointment to be valid.
