How do I get SR-22 insurance?
The answer depends on your state. Pick yours to see it.
You get SR-22 insurance by purchasing a car insurance policy from an insurer that files SR-22 forms in Arizona and requesting the filing. Your insurer submits the SR-22 electronically to the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division; drivers cannot self-file it. Expect a filing fee added to your premium and rates above standard coverage, and if the coverage lapses, the filing requirement starts over.

An SR-22 is a certificate your insurer issues to the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) showing you carry motor vehicle liability insurance; it is not itself insurance. Ask an insurer that does business in Oregon to issue and file it. DMV must receive the certificate before 5 p.m. on the last business day before a suspension begins, or a reinstatement fee applies.
