What is a limited lines insurance license, and how do I get one?
The answer depends on your state. Pick yours to see it.
A Limited Lines license in Texas authorizes you to sell narrow product lines such as credit, travel, rental car, self-service storage, portable electronic, motor vehicle, and crop insurance. To get one, pass the Pearson VUE exam (a $29 fee per the October 2024 candidate handbook), get fingerprinted through TDI's online portal, then apply through Sircon or NIPR within one year of passing. The application fee is $50.
