What is an all-lines adjuster license, and how do I get one?
An all-lines adjuster license authorizes its holder to investigate and settle claims across many coverage types, including catastrophe, property and casualty, and workers' compensation. Florida and Texas issue this license, and both states also let residents of states that do not license adjusters obtain a designated home state version. To qualify, an applicant must be at least 18, pass the state's adjuster exam or claim an exemption (such as holding the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation), submit fingerprints, and pay the application fee, which is $50 in Texas.
