What is the Accredited Claims Adjuster designation, and how do I earn it?

The Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) designation is an adjuster credential issued by a regionally accredited postsecondary institution in Florida, and Florida law exempts ACA holders from the all-lines adjuster license exam. To qualify for the exemption, the curriculum must be approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services and include testing at least equal to the department's standard all-lines adjuster exam. You earn the designation by completing an approved ACA program at one of those institutions.
