What is the difference between the Florida 2-20 and 20-44 insurance licenses?

The Florida 2-20 is the General Lines agent license, and the 20-44 is the Personal Lines agent license. The 2-20 covers property and casualty insurance broadly, including commercial lines, while the 20-44 is limited to property and casualty coverage sold to individuals and families for noncommercial purposes, such as personal auto and homeowners. Florida also issues nonresident versions of both licenses, the 9-20 and the 90-44.
