What is the title insurance agent license exam, and how do I take it?
The answer depends on your state. Pick yours to see it.
The Florida title insurance exam is administered by Pearson VUE, the state's testing vendor, and covers rules and statutes, the title insurance contract, title searches and examination, closing procedures, escrow handling, and agent licensing. It has 70 scored questions plus 5 pretest questions and a 1.5-hour time limit. You must schedule at a physical test center, since online proctoring is no longer available, and the exam fee is $44. You may attempt the exam up to 5 times in a rolling 12-month period, and a passing score is valid for one year.
