Where can I find a practice test for the personal lines insurance exam?
Pearson VUE sells national insurance practice tests online for $19.95 each, covering General Life, Accident and Health, Property, and Casualty, which are the general topics that also appear on personal lines exams. Each test includes 50 general insurance questions plus 25 generic state questions, reveals correct answers, and must be started within 30 days of purchase. Prometric offers free practice tests for Life, Health, and Property/Casualty. Practice tests are not state regulated.
Pearson VUE, the company that administers Alaska's insurance licensing exams, sells online practice tests for $19.95 each. The available subjects are life, health, property, and casualty. You can purchase them and schedule exams at pearsonvue.com.

Pearson VUE offers online practice tests only for Life, Health, Property, and Casualty, so there is no practice test for the personal lines exam. For that exam, use the Delaware Personal Lines Producer content outline in the Pearson VUE candidate handbook. It lists every scored topic on the general portion and the Delaware-specific portion, so it works as a study checklist.

Pearson VUE, which administers Maine's insurance exams, sells online practice tests for $19.95, but they cover life, health, property, and casualty only, not personal lines. For the Maine Personal Lines exam (12-ME-55), Pearson VUE publishes a free downloadable content outline in its candidate handbook, which shows the 100 scoreable questions and topics covered.

Pearson VUE, which administers Rhode Island's insurance exams under contract with the state, sells official practice tests for $19.95 each, including one for the Personal Lines Producer exam, through its Rhode Island insurance page. The actual Personal Lines Producer exam costs $80 and contains 100 scoreable questions (75 general plus 25 state) with a passing scaled score of 70. Neither the Department of Business Regulation nor Pearson VUE issues study materials beyond the free content outlines in the candidate handbook.
