How does the RealEstateU final exam work?

New York requires a school-administered proctored final exam as part of the 77-hour pre-licensing course, separate from the state licensing exam administered by the Department of State. The syllabus allocates 3 hours for the course examination, and a minimum passing score of 70% is required. Upon passing, the course completion is valid for 8 years from the completion date and can be used to apply for a license or for upgrade to a broker license.
