Alabama real estate license renewal fees vary by license type, and a $150 late penalty applies if renewal is filed after August 31 of the renewal year. All licenses expire at midnight on September 30 of the final year of each two-year license period. Active licensees must complete 15 hours of continuing education by September 30 of every even-numbered year, including a mandatory 3-hour Risk Management course. The Colorado Division of Real Estate lists the base rate renewal fee at $252, though the Division notes that renewal fees may vary from year to year and licensees should confirm the exact fee through the online licensing portal. If a license expires, reinstatement within 32 days to one year costs $376.50, and reinstatement more than one year but less than three years costs $501. A 31-day grace period after the expiration date allows renewal without penalty fees, but reinstatement after that point returns the license to inactive status, requiring an additional form to reactivate.

The Delaware Division of Professional Regulation does not publish a fixed renewal fee on its website; licensees are notified of the amount at the time of renewal through the DELPROS online system. A late fee equal to 50% of the renewal fee applies if renewal is filed after the April 30 expiration date in even-numbered years. All processing fees are non-refundable.

The renewal fee for a Georgia real estate license is $125 per individual for the four-year renewal period if submitted by mail, or $100 if submitted through the Commission's online renewal system. A $100 late fee applies if the license is not renewed by the due date and lapses. As of January 1, 2026, the individual broker or salesperson renewal fee is $0 under a fee holiday implemented by the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses. A late renewal incurs an additional $25 fee, and an expired license can be renewed within one year before it terminates.

Kentucky real estate license renewal costs $130 for active licensees and $120 for inactive licensees, due by March 31 of each even-numbered year. The Maryland Real Estate Commission's fee schedule, effective April 27, 2026, lists the following renewal fees: salesperson license renewal at $78, associate broker license renewal at $123, and broker license renewal at $191. The renewal fee for a Minnesota real estate salesperson license is $70, consisting of a $40 base fee, a $20 real estate education, research, and recovery fund charge, and a $10 technology surcharge. Nevada charges $195 to renew a salesperson license and $235 to renew a broker or broker-salesperson license, with late penalties of $75 and $95 respectively. Property Manager permit renewals cost $40 and Business Broker permit renewals cost $40, with $20 late penalties for each. The New Hampshire salesperson renewal fee is $99, and the broker renewal fee is $121, paid to the OPLC. Licenses must be renewed every 2 years. Licensees receive an email renewal notification 90 days before expiration. Active renewal requires 15 hours of continuing education per cycle: a 3-hour core course plus 12 elective hours. On-time renewal costs $300 total: a $270 renewal fee plus a $30 recovery fee. If a licensee renews late but within one year of the expiration date, the total is $810, which includes the $270 renewal fee and a $540 penalty. The salesperson license renewal fee is $65 and the broker license renewal fee is $185, both due every two years. All renewals must be completed online through eAccessNY, and paper renewal forms are no longer distributed. A salesperson or associate broker must have a sponsoring broker to be eligible for renewal.

The annual license renewal fee is $50, payable online by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal. All North Carolina real estate licenses expire on June 30, and the renewal window runs from May 15 to June 30. North Dakota real estate license renewal fees are $125 for salespersons, $150 for brokers and broker associates, $200 for firms, and $50 for branch offices. Late fees accrue at $100 per month per license, beginning November 16. The on-time renewal deadline is November 15 each year, and licenses not renewed by January 15 are cancelled. If an active licensee does not renew by December 31, the license automatically becomes inactive on January 1.

Oklahoma real estate license renewal fees, effective November 1, 2024, are $220 for an active Sales Associate, $265 for an active Broker Associate, $300 for an active Managing or Branch Broker, and $420 for an active Broker Proprietor. Inactive renewal fees are lower: Sales Associate $145, Broker Associate $170, Managing or Branch Broker $180, and Broker Proprietor $180. All fees include the Education Fee. If a license has been lapsed for less than one year, renewal is possible through the License Portal with additional late fees. Reinstatement for a license lapsed more than one year but less than three years requires a $80 reinstatement fee plus the renewal fee, along with examination and background check requirements. A license lapsed for more than three years requires a new application for licensure.

The RI DBR charges $130 to renew a salesperson license and $170 to renew a broker or corporate license, payable to the RI General Treasurer. A late reinstatement fee of $100 is added if the license is renewed after its expiration date. The renewal fee for a Tennessee real estate license is $75 every 2 years, paid through the CORE system at core.tn.gov. The TREC fee schedule effective December 15, 2025 lists the sales agent on-time renewal at $110 and the individual broker on-time renewal at $218. Sales agent late renewal within 90 days of expiration costs $143, and more than 90 days late costs $176. Broker late renewal within 90 days costs $254, and more than 90 days late costs $290. If CE requirements are not met at the time of active renewal, a $200 CE deferral fee provides a 60-day extension to complete the coursework while remaining active.

The on-time renewal fee for a Utah sales agent is $102 total, and the on-time broker renewal is $108 total, each combining a base renewal fee with fingerprint processing and RAP Back fees. Late renewal within 30 days of expiration costs more for both license types, and reinstatement for licenses expired 31 days to 12 months adds a $100 reinstatement fee on top of the renewal fee. The renewal fee for a Vermont real estate license is $220 for both salespersons and brokers, per the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation fee schedule updated July 1, 2025.
