As of July 1, 2024, the California DRE charges $100 for the salesperson examination (exam only) and $100 for each re-examination. As of July 2026, the PSI Candidate Information Bulletin for the Georgia Real Estate Commission lists the examination fee at $175 per attempt for the salesperson, broker, and community association manager exams. The Rhode Island real estate licensing exam consists of two parts (National and State), each scheduled and paid separately through Pearson VUE at $50 per part, totaling $100 for both. The SD DLR fee schedule lists the broker and broker associate examination fee as $294 total ($98 per portion, 3 portions), payable to the testing company. The commission's exam information page states a $105 registration fee payable to PSI at the time of registration. The two figures appear on different pages of the same regulator's website.

The Affiliate Broker exam costs $63.00 for the full exam, $26.00 for the state-only section (80 minutes), and $37.00 for the national-only section (160 minutes). The Real Estate Broker exam carries the same fees: $63.00 full, $26.00 state-only, and $37.00 national-only (150 minutes). The Timeshare Salesperson and Acquisition Agent exams each cost $42.00 (90 minutes). The national real estate examination fee in Vermont is $110 per attempt, set by PSI Services, the exam vendor contracted by the Vermont Real Estate Commission.
