What are the best real estate exam prep courses?

Pearson VUE, the official exam vendor for Idaho, offers Broker and Sales practice tests for $19.95 each, covering general real estate topics only; state-specific practice tests are not available. Once purchased, candidates have 30 days to start the practice test, and it is delivered online as a self-administered tool separate from the actual licensure exam. Idaho-certified education providers also offer exam prep courses in various formats, including live sessions and recorded online modules, at a range of price points. The Candidate Handbook and Content Outlines are available as free PDF downloads from Pearson VUE's Idaho real estate page.

The North Carolina Real Estate Commission does not recommend specific education providers; instead, it publishes an Education Provider License Examination Performance Report showing first-time pass rates by school, split into public and private provider groups, available quarterly or annually. Pearson VUE, the state's exam administrator, offers practice tests for $19.95 covering general real estate topics, though state-specific practice tests are not available. Course fees are set by individual sponsors, not by the Commission.

PSI, the exam administrator for South Dakota broker associate exams, provides a candidate information bulletin that outlines exam content, format, and registration procedures, distributed through pre-licensing schools and available on the PSI website. The broker associate exam consists of two portions: a national multiple-choice section (90 items, 150 minutes) and a state multiple-choice section (52 items, 120 minutes), with a 75% passing score required on each portion. PSI also offers practice tests and test preparation materials for purchase on its website, and some approved pre-licensing education providers bundle exam prep with their coursework.

Pearson VUE, Utah's official exam vendor, offers practice tests for $19.95 covering general real estate topics aligned with the current national exam content outline. The practice tests provide correct answers and score reports, but state-specific practice tests are not available. Candidates may also use the Pearson VUE Candidate Handbook and content outlines, which are available as free PDF downloads and detail the topics covered on both the general and state portions of the exam.
