Pearson VUE administers Alabama's real estate licensing exam, having replaced PSI effective January 3, 2023. Pearson VUE administers the Alaska real estate licensing exam for both salesperson and broker levels under contract with the Alaska Real Estate Commission. Pearson VUE administers the Arkansas Real Estate License Examinations for both salesperson and broker candidates. The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) administers the real estate licensing exam directly, not through a third-party testing vendor such as PSI or Pearson VUE. Exams are offered in electronic format at five DRE-operated exam centers in Fresno, La Palma, Oakland, Sacramento, and San Diego. Pearson VUE administers the Kansas real estate licensing exam for both salespersons and brokers. Pearson VUE administers the Louisiana real estate licensing exam. Louisiana previously contracted with PSI as its testing vendor but transitioned to Pearson VUE. After the Louisiana Real Estate Commission (LREC) processes an application, candidates receive an exam authorization email from Pearson VUE to schedule and pay for the exam.

Pearson VUE administers both the Sales Agent exam and the Maine Law exam for Maine real estate licensure.
