Are testing accommodations available for the NMLS exam?

Yes. The NMLS offers reasonable testing accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for the SAFE MLO Test, and candidates must obtain NMLS approval before scheduling an accommodated appointment. Since October 1, 2024, online proctored testing is available only to candidates who qualify for ADA accommodations; all other candidates test at Prometric test centers.
