How many hours does one CEU equal?

For mortgage licensing, continuing education is tracked in credit hours rather than CEUs. A state-licensed mortgage loan originator must complete at least 8 hours of NMLS-approved education each year: 3 hours of federal law, 2 hours of ethics, 2 hours on lending standards for nontraditional mortgage products, and 1 elective hour. Providers report completions to NMLS, and most post within 7 calendar days.
