How much does a commercial loan officer make?

There is no separate federal wage figure for commercial loan officers. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics groups them within its loan officers occupation, which lists Commercial Loan Officer among its sample job titles. The median annual wage for loan officers was $76,690 in May 2025; the lowest 10 percent earned less than $39,430, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $153,180.
