How much does MLO pre-licensing education cost?

The required 20-hour NMLS-approved pre-licensing course typically costs a few hundred dollars, roughly $200 to $600 depending on the provider and package. NMLS itself does not offer pre-licensing education; courses come from approved providers, and some states add state-specific hours on top of the federal 20-hour minimum.
