What is the format of the MLO license test?
The National MLO license test (also known as the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test) consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 190 minutes, and a passing grade of 75% or better.
Wyoming requires the SAFE MLO National Test Component with Uniform State Content, so there is no separate Wyoming state test. A passing score is at least 75% correct answers. You may retake the test up to 3 consecutive times, with each retake at least 30 days after the preceding attempt; after 3 consecutive failures you must wait 6 months before testing again. The test fee is $110.
