Which states are the easiest to get an MLO license in?

No state is categorically easier, because the federal minimums apply everywhere: 20 hours of NMLS-approved pre-licensing education, a 75% passing score on the SAFE MLO Test, and FBI fingerprint and credit checks. States differ mainly in added hours and fees. Most state agencies require the standard 20 PE hours, while some add more (Texas SML requires 23 total, Nevada 30, Washington 22), and state application fees vary by agency.
