Alaska

Arizona

Prior to making your application, you will be required to achieve satisfactory scoring on a closed-book, proctored exam taken at completion of the 75-hour North Carolina Broker pre-licensing course. You must achieve a passing grade of 75% and have at least 80% class attendance to receive the required Official Certificate of Course Completion signed by the school director.
The state licensing exam includes two distinct parts: a national section and a state section. The national portion of the test consists of 80 multiple-choice questions. You must answer 57 of the 80 scored questions correctly to pass this section of the exam.
The state portion of the exam has 40 multiple-choice questions. You will need to answer 29 of the 40 scored questions correctly to pass this section of the exam.
You will need to pass both sections of the state licensing exam unless you have qualified for, and received, a waiver for all or part of it.
North Dakota

Texas
What real estate license test do I need to take to get my Texas license?
There are two sets of tests you must take in order to get your Texas real estate salespersons license.
First, you must pass the final exams for each of the 6, 30-hour pre-license courses. These are proctored final exams that are administered by the real estate school as part of the pre-license course.
Once you pass the school’s 6 final exams, you can then sit for the State exam.
The State exam consists of a national portion and a state law portion. The national portion includes 85 multiple-choice questions, while the state law portion includes 40 multiple-choice questions.
There is a total time limit of 240 minutes (150 minutes for the national portion and 90 minutes for the state law portion).
You must answer at least 56 questions correctly on the national portion in order to pass, and at least 21 questions correctly on the state law portion.
You must pass BOTH the national and state law portions in order to pass the overall exam.
The State exam is taken in-person at a Pearson VUE testing center.
