MICHAEL MINTZ

Bio

Prior to co-founding MD2 Property Group, Michael was the Acquisitions Manager and a Senior Property Manager at FirstService Residential New York, LLC (formerly Cooper Square Realty, Inc.) managing properties and locating investment opportunities for the principals of FirstService. Michael used his management, investment and development knowledge to create and implement asset repositioning plans including renovations and re-leasing for investments in order to maximize value for investors. Michael has managed over 1200 units in more than 30 buildings including residential and commercial owners/tenants and 50+ staff members.

Michael has experience in high-end and affordable housing including rent-stabilized units in the rental, coop and condo markets from both FirstService and his prior position at The Menkiti Group in Washington, DC. He began working in property management upon graduation from the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics. Michael grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Michael established himself as a leading manager and key investment advisor at FirstService. He is an entrepreneur and is parlaying his unique skills and knowledge into making MD2 Property Group one of New York City’s leading property management and real estate investment firms.
